The Operator's Map — Cohort 01

Pass it on

Thank you for thinking of someone. Everything below is already written, so this should take about a minute. Rewrite any of it in your own words — it lands better in your voice than in mine.

The link to send them

That page has the full outline, the weekly build sequence, and registration. Anyone who reaches out is told to mention the name of whoever sent them, so you get the credit without having to ask for it.

Who to think of

Someone who has already put real hours into ChatGPT or Claude and still has not gotten either one to reliably give them time back. Not a beginner, and not a developer.

The one thing that matters is that they have decision-making authority over a working business and a real operational problem they own — a solo consultant and an executive running a fifty-million operation both fit. What does not fit is someone attending on behalf of the person who actually decides.

What has to stay accurate

  • Cohort 01 began Monday, August 17 and is underway now
  • Live sessions Wednesdays, 12:00 – 1:15 pm Central
  • The pilot seat was $247. The public launch runs $1,997
  • Doors for the next cohort open at public launch — reaching out now puts someone first in line

Two versions, yours to rewrite

Short — text, DM, LinkedIn

Someone I trust just launched an eight-week AI program, and you were one of the first people I thought of.

It is built for people who already use ChatGPT or Claude but never got either one to reliably give them time back. You build real working systems inside your own business. You do not sit and watch demos.

The pilot cohort filled and is running now at $247. The public launch comes later this year at $1,997 — reaching out now puts you first in line for it.

Long — email

I want to put something in front of you, and it takes two minutes to decide on.

Waz Garuba runs Harlem Labs. He has done this work inside real organizations — Harvard Business Publishing among them — and has coached roughly forty to fifty owners and executives through it one at a time. He is now running the pilot cohort of an eight-week program called The Operator's Map.

It is built for people who have already opened ChatGPT or Claude, put real hours into it, and still have not gotten it to reliably give them time back. Not a tool tour. Not an overview of AI. Every week you build one working system inside your own organization, and by week eight you have built something you could hand to a new hire and have it run without you.

If you are wondering whether you are technical enough — his ten-year-old builds and ships video games with these tools. That is not a comment on the child. It is how far the software has come. The hard part was never the software. It is knowing what to point it at inside a real organization, and that is the whole program.

Eight weeks, one live session a week, Wednesdays 12:00 – 1:15 pm Central. The rest is work inside your own shop, about two hours a week. The pilot cohort began Monday, August 17 and is running now.

The pilot seat was $247 — deliberately low, traded for honest feedback from the founding group. When the program opens publicly it runs $1,997, and the people who reach out now are first in line for those doors.

When someone comes to mind

Send me their name or make the introduction, whichever is lighter — I will take care of them from there. And if you know an owner who would put three or four of their own people in at once, that is the one I want most.

If nobody comes to mind, that is a complete answer and I will not chase it.
